Curator: If I saw a brightly coloured sailing ship drifting across the sky, I'd stop and watch. This would be one of those kites everyone notices.
The Sailing Ship Kite transforms a familiar sailing ship into something unexpectedly airborne. Handmade from ripstop nylon, bamboo and string, it is carefully rigged to resemble a classic sailing ship that can take to the sky on a windy day before returning home as a hanging mobile.
It flies best in strong winds at the beach or on a hilltop. Indoors, the same construction creates a striking sculptural display for a child's room, living space or anywhere a sense of movement is welcome.
Each kite is handmade by artisans in Bali in collaboration with Haptic Lab and arrives flat in a sturdy kraft envelope with kite twine and assembly instructions included.

International shipping is chargeable, based on order weight and delivery location. Free shipping for international address is applicable for orders above a certain value.
