Radiometer
Curator: The radiometer makes something invisible suddenly visible. It’s a small, almost magical reminder of the forces around us.
Seemingly magical, the radiometer comes alive with just a touch of light. Inside its glass enclosure, a delicate impeller spins in response to light—even invisible infrared rays. The blades move faster or slower depending on the light’s intensity, creating a quiet, mesmerising display. Place it by a window where light shines in or under an incandescent light.
