Curator: You really cannot judge this book by its cover.  When closed, it is quite unremarkable and disappears into any bookshelf. But when it's opened, it spills magic and wows! Allow me to introduce our resident star from the design museum shop.

The lamp is the creation of Indonesian born, San Francisco based Architect Max Gunawan. It was launched at Kickstarter with phenomenal success and subsequently won a Red Dot Award. Lumio Lito is a dynamic, multi-functional lamp that conceals itself in the form of a hard-cover book. It opens to 360 degrees and comes with a custom orange micro-USB charger, magnetic wooden pegs for mounting, and a beautiful leather strap for hanging.
